FICTS ISTANBUL 2012

International Ficts İstanbul Sport Film Festival organized on 11-12-13 May in İstanbul.

The Sport and The Art are together, it’s opening ceremony:

On 11 May 2012, The festival started with the amazing opening ceremony in Marmara University. The Ficts Federation President Prof. Franco Ascani and some foreign guests attended to our festival. There was a conference which combines sport photographs exhibitions opening ceremony and lots of students attended the conference from the university.

All foreign guests saw Turkey’s historical and turistic beauties.

There were film screenings, sport activities and conferences. Also, there was a The Ficts Board Meeting Ceremony in the second day of festival.

Between the all guests: Pat Battistini from Los Angeles, Birger Schmidt from Berlin, Nikolay Porakhovnik from Moscow, Nguyen Xuan Vinh from Vietnam, Andrew Luwandagga from Uganda, Antonio Bruni from Rai Sport, Mikhail Smirnov from BBC.

The films which are in degree. They met with their awards with a wonderful ceremony in Aya Irini Museum. Also, there was a concert. The group’s name is Antakya Civilizations Choir. Also, it is candidate of The Nobel Peace Award.

2012 World Ficts Challenge... ISTANBUL...

2012 World Ficts Challenge which will organize 5 continents in the 14 countries, is starting. The festivals organize 5 continents in the 14 countries. It’s first phase will be in İstanbul. In every stage of the first films made in the final in Milan. It’ll win the right to participate directly in final phase. Ficts Federation’s 2012 calender, the most important city is European Capital of Sport, İstanbul. Many recent films reference to the festival in Turkey and abroad. Also, recent references to the festival is on 30 April. We wish good luck to all participants.

Antonio Bruni who is Italian Sport Channel Rai Sport’s of executives, will attend to our festival. Bruni: he’ll evaluate that sport and media communication, media’s effects on sport films and perspective of Europe to Turkish Sport.
